I am not a writer. and for sure not a good one. I am just a Palestinian who can manage with some language and internet access. I am one of the least angry residents of Gaza. But this very little anger is forcing me to scream through these electronic pages i am creating, hoping it can reach anyone who have some interest or concern to hear a voiceless.
Forgive the poor language, forgive the unprofessional writing and designing. Try to read this anger and this love to life.
Naj, please hang in there!!! we are with you, we support you - you are NOT alone nor forgotten!! This horror will have to have an end sometime soon - please stick it out till then, do NOT give in to these negative influences! I KNOW you're a human ... a beautiful human and an AS beautiful soul! I know Amira, even personally. She's a brilliant journalist with a LOT of guts!
Israel closed the borders between Gaza and Israel due to the suicide bombings, but until then, people moved freely between the two areas. Blame those who use violence to make things worse for everyone. If Israelis were coming across, targeting shoppers, worshippers, and ordinary citizens on buses and in cafes, the people of Gaza would be the ones closing the borders. When the Palestinian government really wants to negotiate a peace and actively demonstrates its goodwill, everyone in the entire region will benefit. As it is, the Palestinian people have been victimized by leaders like Arafat, who have stolen the millions and millions of dollars sent in international aid to help the Palestinian people. Corruption and greed among the "leaders" have led to this terrible situation. The Israelis pulled out, began to actively work for peace, but the violence continues. I hope for the best for the Palestinian people, and for the people of the entire region. But, honestly, let's blame the violence and hatred for creating the present situation. My opinion is respectfully submitted, along with my best wishes and kindest regards, lynne
